Moving a slate pool table is not a furniture move. The slates alone weigh several hundred pounds each, and a table that is dragged rather than dismantled will almost always need re-levelling and often re-felting afterwards.
Our own crew handles the whole job: we strip the cloth and rails, lift and crate the slate, move the frame, then reassemble, shim and re-level the table in its new spot so it plays true. New cloth can be fitted during reassembly if the old cloth is worn.
